“LOWLIFE was a song I made at a time where I was losing a lot of peers. It made me feel like a recluse, incapable of anything. I wanted to bring this to light to anyone going through the same thing I was in this visual! Check out LOWLIFE on my new EP “Antiworld” out now!”

DOPE FEIN

PROD. YE11OW | ENGINEERED BY ANTI-VERSE

“Dope Fein” is a clever play on words, a contraction of ‘dopamine’, the brain’s pleasure chemical. It’s a raw and unflinching exploration of unhealthy sexual habits, a portrayal of the struggle between desire and self-control. The song exploitation into the human psyche, exploring the addictive nature of dopamine and its role in driving our actions. It’s a poignant commentary on the darker aspects of desire, inspired by real-life experiences and the harsh realities of addiction and self-destruction.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Born on October 20, 2003, Ryan Remy Jackson, also known as AntiVer$e, is a youthful prodigy in the realm of music, engineering, and brand ambassadorship for Mzoworldwide. His journey, however, began far from the world of beats and rhythms. As a child of merely five, Anti was enamored with the realms of science and literature, his precocious intellect earning him accolades in four science fairs, two poetry events, a robotics tournament, and numerous spelling bees.

At the age of ten, a seismic shift occurred in Anti’s world. The lyrical flow of Kirko Bangz’s “Drank in My Cup” ignited a passion for music within him. He immersed himself in the art, crafting rhyme schemes, penning poetry, and even joining his elementary school band. His musical prowess was undeniable, mastering three instruments - the trombone, tuba, and trumpet - at a level far beyond his years. His affinity for the trombone led to his appointment as the first chair.

However, his time in the band was marred by jealousy and animosity from his peers, leading to frequent altercations and suspensions. Despite the hostility, Anti’s love for music was unwavering, and he endured the backlash to continue playing. This resilience was tested when a bullying incident escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in Anti’s expulsion from the band. The incident left him traumatized and distanced from music.

Years later, a chance encounter with his eighth-grade teacher, Mr. Luke, rekindled Anti’s passion for music. Inspired by their conversation, Anti decided to leave his past behind, stay out of trouble, and once again immerse himself in music. He procured a microphone and headset, spending countless hours on BandLab, writing lyrics, and creating songs with his friends. They formed a group named COS (Crows of Society), a brotherhood bound by their shared love for music.

Despite his efforts, Anti struggled to gain recognition on SoundCloud, leading him to take a hiatus to focus on his academics and football. The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it a wave of personal tragedies - the loss of his grandparents, his brother’s incarceration, a painful breakup, and his parents’ separation. These events plunged Anti into a deep depression, affecting his academic performance and participation in football.

As the school year drew to a close, Anti penned apology letters to his teachers, leading to heartfelt conversations about life and mental health. Encouraged by their support, Anti decided to improve his grades and pursue activities that brought him joy.

After a few months of practicing Muay Thai, Anti decided to return to music, inspired by his government teacher’s advice not to let a dream be deferred. With his GPA back on track, Anti began exploring college degrees that aligned with his passion for music. His search led him to Full Sail University in Florida. The 18-hour journey to the university marked the beginning of a new chapter in Anti’s life.

At Full Sail University, Anti was awestruck by the production studios and the opportunities they presented. He made numerous friends and connections, learning the intricacies of mixing and mastering from industry professionals. One such connection was Aundrae Black, who recognized Anti’s talent and guided him through the BA program, making him a brand ambassador, providing him with merchandise, taking him on his first tour, and introducing him to a trustworthy manager.

Hailing from Houston, Texas, Anti draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including xxxtentacion, Ski Mask, Juice WRLD, DMX, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Kirko Bangz, Travis Scott, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Don Toliver, Rae Sremmurd, Chris Brown, Charlie Wilson, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Lil Yachty. His journey serves as a testament to resilience, passion, and the transformative power of music.

It’s a reflection on past relationships that have soured over time, leading to feelings of betrayal and disappointment. The song is a cathartic expression of these emotions, channeled through the narrative of living on the edge and resorting to desperate measures for survival. It’s a poignant commentary on the darker aspects of life, inspired by real-life experiences and the harsh realities of trust and change.
